Notice received from Janet's husband on the class Facebook page regarding her passing:
Hello all.
My name is James Graham, and I am Janet's husband. It is with great sadness that Janet has passed away, as of July 27th. After an extremely long and extremely brave struggle with cancer. We thought we had it beat by Nov 2025, but it came back with a vengeance in Feb 2026, far worse. She was the most incredible individual; devastated, the world has lost someone amazing. Fought the battle with incredible strength until the very end.

James, thank you for posting about Janet's passing. She was indeed a special individual. She was my best friend in high school. I remember first meeting her in Mr Davis' history class. She bowled me over with her enthusiasm and intelligence. We have tried to keep in touch during the years, but it was difficult. I shall always remember her fondly.
