Neil was a lifelong friend (56 years) with whom I consistently saw when he visited San Diego from Austin, Texas. Neil attended the 20th CHS class reunion at the Mexican Village, and connected with many of his fellow classmates. Very significantly, Neil was the editor of our Beachcomber yearbook, and did a fantastic job! He always had a kind word, and loved to end a conversation with a joke. Actually, everyone with whom I have shared Neil"s passing, commented that they could remember only great things about him--very compassionate and caring person. My wife and I had the pleasure meeting with Neil for lunch at Miguel's in Coronado back in November 2018 on his last visit here. Our conversation was rich and Neil had many insightful questions of a spiritual nature. God bless you, brother.
