Martha Jane Wright Together Forever  HIGHLAND, UT - Loving wife, mom, sister, and daughter, Martha Jane Wright, passed away November 27, 2003. She was born in Newport Beach, California to Marion Charles Mullins and Lucille Stoner. Later Martha would marry the love of her life, Thomas Woodrow Wright September 7, 1968 in Hyattsville, Maryland. Martha was loved by everyone that knew her. She was the most caring person and loved to give to those around her. Mom spent her free time making and giving gifts for others. She was always thinking of others first. She was a beacon in many people’s lives and was a strength to her husband whom she considered to be her best friend. Her children were the light of her life and she always found great joy from having them around her. Many people’s lives were blessed from having known Martha and feeling of her love for them. Many people knew Martha as the "cookie lady" which she earned the title while she was employed at Cookies by Design in Provo, Utah. She love to go to work every day, and she had a contagious laugh that was felt by all. Mom was a ray of sunshine that lit up the room wherever she went. Martha is survived by her husband, five children, 15 grandchildren, also her mother, and one sister.

A viewing will be held Monday evening, December 1, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah (located four blocks north of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple), and also Tuesday morning from 11-11:45 a.m. at the Highland 8thWard Chapel prior to services. Interment for Martha will take place in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, located at 4thAvenue and "N" Street, Salt Lake City. Funeral arrangements are being conducted under the direction of Warenski Funeral Home, American Fork, Utah.

I remember Martha telling me that she rowed over from the boathouse every school day to attend school. I thought that was about the coolest thing ever, living in a boathouse and rowing to school.  Now of course it is the Charthouse Resturant.
