I remember Jeff from 4th grade. He was the class clown. The teacher was Miss Ratcliff. Jeff was doing his normal clowning and had all of us laughing. Miss Ratcliff became so angry, she started stuffing paper towels into Jeff's mouth. Needless to say she did get fired. RIP Jeff.
I too would like to know how Jeff passed. Does anyone know? The last time I saw him was 1972-3 at a contruction site where he was working (some where near Bay Ho close to Highway 5)
I remember holding hands with him at the movies while seeing Porgy and Bess . I think he was my first boyfriend. Also was in MissRatcliff's class in 4th grade and the paper stuffing teacher also crammed paper in his mouth..... He sure kept us entertained in class.
Jeff had a great sense of humor. He was also the first person I met who meditated. I'm sorry he's no longer with us. He was a nice guy. I took a nice picture of him at our 10th reunion. Ted
The last time I saw Jeff was in the early 70's we were at a party and he got in a fight with someone. There was some thought of throwing him and the other guy out. I said let me talk to him. We chatted for a while and it was clear at least to me he had been provoked so we threw the other guy out. But this wasn't the main event for our conflict resolution success stories. Jeff and I both had crushes on the same girl in 5th grade. She was quite bonnie. Well in fact her name was Bonnie. We found out she had an identical twin in another class and Jeff graciously said it didn't matter to him so he decided to have a crush on the sister. Our issue then was how do you tell them apart. Luckily the other twin had a chicken pocks scare on her forehead. Problem solved.
